How Do I Program Wireless Motions On A 2Gig GoControl?

To program a wireless motion detector on a 2Gig GoControl panel, enter the panel's system configuration by pressing the logo in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen. Press security, menu then toolbox. Enter the installer code (2Gig's default installer code is 1561). Press installer toolbox, then system configuration.

Q1 is for programming wireless sensors. Select 01-48 for zone, then press the down arrow.

Select sensor zone type, either 04 for interior follower (motion) or 10 interior delay (motion). Press the down arrow.

Enter the 4 digit RF sensor type code (motion is 0869). Press the down arrow.

Enter the 7 digit serial number manually or "learn" n the sensor by pressing "shift", "learn", then trip the motion. Tripping the motion will send the serial number to the control panel. Press the down arrow.

Select Equipment Age and select 1 for new. Press the down arrow.

Select RF Sensor Loop Number. Select 1 (loop 1 is used for all 2Gig sensors, except for flood/freeze sensors and when using the internal switch on a door/window sensor. Press the down arrow.

Select Dialer Delay, select 1 for enabled. Press the down arrow.

Select Voice Descriptor, press "insert", then 146 for the word motion or 147 for the words motion detector. Users can add additional words by pressing insert again followed by the voice descriptor number. There are 285 voice descriptor words to select from and a 5 word maximum. Press the down arrow.

Select RF Sensor Reports and leave enabled, 1. Press the down arrow.

Select RF Sensor Supervision and leave enabled, 1. Press the down arrow.
