How Do You Add A 2GIG IMAGE1 To The 2GIG GC3?
Unfortunately the 2GIG IMAGE1 is not compatible with the 2GIG GC3 panel, it’s only compatible with the 2GIG Go Control panel.
The good news is 2GIG will soon be releasing the 2GIG IMAGE2, (2GIGXCVR3-GC3) that will be compatible with the 2GIG GC3 panel. Once released Alarm Grid will post how to program the 2GIG IMAGE2 sensor to a 2GIG C3 control panel.
The 2GIG IMAGE 1 sensor is a motion detector that has a built in camera that takes snapshots when movement is picked up.The 2GIG IMAGE 1 is a pet friendly motion sensor for animals up to 40lbs.
The 2GIG Go Control panel’s revision needs to be at least 1.10 and supports up to a total of 3, 2GIG IMAGE1 sensors.
The 2GIG IMAGE 1 sensor requires a 2GIG-XCVR2-345. The 2GIG-XCVR2-345 is a 900MHz Transceiver and 345MHz receiver.
With an Alarm.com account, users can upload imagines either automatically or manually and view from any computer, smartphone or ios device. Users can use the capture on demand feature to check in on their home or business.
A compatible Go Control cellular communicator is required to have an Alarm.com account. The compatible cellular communicators for the 2GIG Go Control panel are the Verizon cellular unit, the 2GIG GCCDMV-A, the AT&T cellular unit, the 2GIG GC3GA-A and Rogers for Canada, the 2GIG GC3GR-A. Alarm.com allows user to remotely control the 2GIG alarm system, home automation and video surveillance from any computer, smartphone or ios device. Users will receive notifications via email and or text message on any alarm signal or event.
