How Many Key Fobs Can Be Added To The 2GIG GC3?
The 2GIG GC3 control panel supports up to 32 key fob zones. The 2GIG GC3 control panel also supports 2 hardwired zones and 100 wireless zones.
The compatible Key Fobs are the 4 Button, 2GIG Key2-345, the Single Button Panic Remote, 2GIG Panic1-345 and Honeywell’s Wireless 4 Button, the 5834-4 Key Fob.
To add / program a Key Fob to the 2GIG GC3 control panel users need to enter the Installer Toolbox. The install code is needed to enter the Installer Tool Box. The 2GIG factory default installer code is 1561.
To enter the Installer Toolbox > tap the 2GIG logo found in the top right corner > enter the four digit installer code > Installer Toolbox > System Configuration > Key Fobs.
Tap a Gray text Key Fob (gray text is for available slots and black are taken slots) > press the Edit Key Fob icon > highlight Fob Used > select Enabled > press the arrow down icon found on the bottom right > Equipment Code - select the correct key fob you are programming, example 2GIG Key2-345 > Enter the 7 digit serial number off the key fob > tap the arrow down icon > choose the equipment age - New > Highlight Emergency Key and select either Disabled, Auxiliary, Audible or Silent > tap the down arrow > highlight Fob Can Disarm > select enabled for the ability to disarm the system using the key fob or disable to prevent the key fob from disarming the control panel > press the arrow down > highlight Voice Descriptor > Edit > type the first few letters example; master > press the match word on the touchscreen > press Done > press the down arrow > highlight Arm With No Entry > press Enabled OR Disabled **when Enabled, the system will IGNORE all time delays, when DISABLED the system will use the panels time delay > press the down arrow > highlight Fob Output > select Disabled, Toggle Output or Momentary Output.
To program another key fob select Next Key Fob or to complete > press Return to System Configuration > press the left facing arrow > press Save at the Confirm Changes.
