How Many Partitions Can I Have On A Vista 15P?

The Honeywell Vista 15P control panel provides 1 partition and provides more features than the Vista 10P.

The Vista 15P has 6 on board hardwired zones, 16 hardwired expansion zones when paired with a hardwired zone expander and 26 wireless expansion zones when paired with an RF keypad or wireless receiver (zone doubling is not a feature supported by the Vista 15P). The Vista 15P supports 8 independent keyfob zones to be programmed without using any of the 26 wireless expander zones.

The Vista 15P supports up to 8 keypads, alpha and fixed combined and up to 2 graphic keypads. Examples of keypads but not limited to are; 6150, 6150V, 6150RF, 6160, 6160V, 6160RF, 6162, 6162V and the 6162RF. Examples of graphic keypads are the 6280 and the Tuxedo Touch WiFi. A alphanumeric keypad is required like the 6160 for programming.

The Vista 15P supports up to 32 user codes and has a log that stores up to 50 events that are viewable from a keypad with a time and date stamp.

The Vista 15P supports 4 wire and up to 16, 2 wire smoke detectors.

The Vista 15P provides several options for communication. The GSMV4G, GSMX4G cell communicators. The 7847i internet communicator and the iGSMV4G for dual communication. The Vista 15P can also be connected to a standard telephone line.

When the Vista 15P is paired with a gsm cell or internet alarm communicator, it becomes compatible for Total Connect 2.0. Total Connect 2.0 is an internet app which allows users to control an alarm system, home automation and video surveillance from any computer, smartphone or ios device. Users will receive notifications via email and or text messages on any alarm signal or event.
