How Many Total Zones Can A VISTA 10SE Handle?

The Vista -10SE supports a total of 22 zones. The Vista-10SE has 6 on board hardwired zones and supports up to 16, 5800 RF series wireless zones when paired with an RF keypad or a wireless receiver. There is no hardwired zone expansion on the Vista-10SE.

The compatible wireless receivers are the 5881ENL, 5881ENM, 5881ENH, and the 5883H. Users need to set the receiver address to 0 and RF zones start at 10.

The compatible RF keypads is the 6150RF and the 6160RF.

The 6150RF is a fixed English keypad and supports a total of 16 wireless zones. This keypad has a built in 5881ENM receiver and Transmitter Module. The 6150RF cannot be used for programming.

The 6160RF is an alphanumeric keypad with a built in 5881H receiver and 5800TM. The 6160RF keypad will support the total number of wireless zones in a Vista panel. Users can also use the 6160RF for programming.

Only one receiver can be used. Choosing an RF keypad provides not only a keypad but allows use of bidirectional devices with the built in transceiver.

The Vista-10SE control panel supports a total of 4 keypads - both fixed and alpha combined.

The Vista-10SE does not support AUI keypads like the Tuxedo Touch WIFI or the 6280, so the Vista-10SE isn’t compatible with Z-Wave devices..

The Vista-10SE is not compatible with Total Connect 2.0 but is compatible with Total Connect. Total Connect will only provide event driven emails and or text messages when non-addressable panels are in ecp mode. Users will not have any remote access.

Users can upgrade the Vista-10SE to a Vista-21iP which supports a total of 48 zones and has a built in internet communicator and is compatible with Total Connect 2.0 and AUI keypads.

Total Connect 2.0 allows users to control the alarm system, home automation and video surveillance remotely from any computer, smartphone and ios device. Users will receive notifications on any alarm signal and event via email and or text message.
