How do I change installer code on a Honeywell L7000?
Honeywell’s newest Lynx Touch the L7000 has a full 7” color touchscreen. The Honeywell’s Lynx Touch L7000 graphic user interface makes it easy to navigate and very user friendly.
To change the installer code on the Honeywell Lynx Touch L7000, Press the “Security” icon on the home screen. Press “More”, then press “Tools”. A keypad and ENTER CODE will be displayed, (Honeywell’s factory default installer code for the Lynx Touch L7000 is 4 - 1 - 1 - 2). Enter 4-1-1-2 on the displayed keypad. Press “Program” and press “Installer Code”. The current installer code will be displayed on the left side of the screen. Press “Clear”. Enter the new four (4) digit installer code. The new code will now appear on the left side of the screen. Press “Done”. A message will appear “Do You Want To Allow Installer To Re-enter Programming?” Always press “Yes”. Press the “Return” icon to return to the home screen.
If the factory default installer code, 4-1-1-2 does not allow the user to enter programming, power down the system. Power the system back up. During the initial power up delay, while the system is in standby, depress the home key. Wait for the system to stop the delay. Select the “Security” icon, press “Arm Stay”, press “Clear”. A blue vertical bar will appear below the “Enter Code”. Enter “00” on the keypad. The system will enter programming and the installer tools menu will be displayed. Select “Clear” enter the new four (4) digit installer code. The new code will appear on the left side of the screen. Press “Done” A message will appear “Do You Want To Allow Installer To Re-enter Programming?” Always press “Yes”. Press the return icon to return to the home screen.
