Will the Honeywell 5853 Glass Break work w/ L5100?

Indeed. The Honeywell 5853 Glass Break Detector is compatible with the Honeywell Lynx Touch L5100 control panel. The 5853 glass break detector is part of Honeywell’s 5800 series transmitters and they all are compatible with the Lynx Touch L5100. In addition to the 5853 glass break, the Honeywell 5800 series consists of door/window sensors, motion detectors, keypads, smoke and heat detectors, carbon monoxide detector, temperature and water sensors, sirens, keyfobs, medical alert buttons and panic buttons. The 5853 glass break detector’s performance is identical to the FG1625 hardwire glass break. The 5853 glass break detector has a 25 feet detection range and should be mounted 6.5 feet from the floor and at least 3.3 feet from air ducts and sirens. Programming the 5853 glass break detector in the L5100 control panel is simple. When programming the transmitter, manually enter the serial and loop number or enroll via RF transmission - specify: Input Type = 3 Supervised RF, Loop 1.
