The Honeywell 6160RF is an alphanumeric addressable keypad. The 6160RF keypad has a built in 5881ENH wireless receiver and a 5800TM module supporting as many Honeywell 5800 series wireless devices as the control panel provides. The 6160RF keypad is compatible with the Honeywell Vista series control panels. The 6160RF keypad has a built in bi-directional transmitter which allows status to be sent to bi-directional wireless devices such as the 5804BDV and 5828/V using the House ID in the panel or the keypad.

The 6160RF keypad has an RF receiving range of up to 200 feet.

The 6160RF keypad has a 2 line, 32 character LCD display allowing users to access star (*) 56 zone programming menu and program custom alpha zone descriptors. The zone programming fields will be displayed on the keypad to guide you as you program your zones.

Like the Honeywell 6160RF keypad, the Honeywell 6162RF is an alphanumeric addressable keypad. The 6162RF keypad also has a built-in 5881ENH wireless receiver and a 5800TM module supporting as many Honeywell 5800 series wireless devices as the control panel provides. The 6162RF keypad is compatible with the Honeywell Vista series control panels that have a revision 9.12 or higher or on the Vista 21iP a revision of 3.16 or higher. Honeywell does offer a Prom Chip to upgrade Vista 15P and Vista 20P control panels. The 6162RF also has a built-in bi-directional transmitter which allows status to be sent to bi-directional wireless devices such as the 5804BDV and 5828/V using the House ID in the panel or the keypad.

The 6162RF keypad also provides Vista Intelligent Programming. Vista Intelligent Programming (VIP) provides menu based selections for programming fields and 8 lines for programming. VIP programming shows real time entries on the display screen which makes for easier and faster programming.

Both the Honeywell 6160RF and 6162RF keypads are ideal for a hardwired Vista control panel when also installing wireless devices. The 6162RF is the latest Honeywell RF keypad, has a modern look with VIP programming.
