What Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Works on Total Connect 2.0?

The Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Openers work on Total Connect 2.0. An end user can control their Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Opener after they have completed the integration process. The feature must be enabled by the end user's monitoring company. The MyQ Opener must be connected to WIFI.

Total Connect 2.0 is an interactive service platform used with Honeywell Alarm Systems. One of its best features is allowing end users to control their smart home automation devices remotely by accessing a mobile app. This includes Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Controllers. In order to do this, the end user must integrate their Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Opener with their Total Connect 2.0 account.

To get started, the user will need to get a Total Connect 2.0 account. This interactive service platform is used exclusively with Honeywell Security Panels. The user will also need service from an alarm monitoring company, such as Alarm Grid. They should make sure that the monitoring plan they select includes access to Total Connect 2.0 and offers automation services. For Alarm Grid, this includes any plan Silver or higher. Once you have access to TC2, you can proceed to set up your MyQ Garage Door Controller. You should use the MyQ Mobile App to connect the controller to your local WIFI network. This app can be be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. It will walk you through the complete process of setting up your Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Opener. This includes creating a MyQ account

After you have created a MyQ account, you should login to Total Connect 2.0. Go to the Automation section, and choose "Manage Devices". Then select "Chamberlain LiftMaster". Assuming that you already set up your garage door controller through the MyQ App, you should then select "Add Existing Garage Door". Simply provide your MyQ account login information, and select the garage door controller you want to use. Alternatively, you can choose "Setup New Garage Door" to launch the MyQ App and set up a new garage door controller from scratch. Press save when you have finished. The garage door opener should be added to the Automation screen on TC2.
