What is a Honeywell 6148?

The Honeywell 6148 is a fixed English alarm keypad for use with Honeywell wired alarm systems. The 6148 provides a user access to all of the features of their alarm system at the best basic value. The 6148 has a full keypad, with backlit keys, and a LCD screen. The keypad is limited in its ability to be used for programming as its fixed English display means it can only provide certain words and numbers as feedback. The 6148 also lacks the (4) macro function buttons found on the 6150 fixed English alarm keypad.
