What routers are compatible with the L5100-WIFI?
The Honeywell L5100-WIFI Wifi enabled internet alarm monitoring communicator does not work currently with the AlarmNet wireless access point (WAP) or with the Sercom router sold by Honeywell as they both broadcast wirelessly on channel 6 which causes interference with the L5100-WIFI.
The L5100-WIFI internet alarm monitoring communicator also does not currently support the WiFi protected setup (WPS) feature found on most routers. Any router that does work with the L5100-WIFI must be able to transmit its service set identifier (SSID).

It is difficult to offer exact compatibility with new routers. Generally, the L5100-WIFI requires a 2.4GHz WIFI connection and does not support the new AC technology but as long as the AC model router can broadcast a B/G/N network, it should be compatible.

The list shows very old routers. Would L5100-WiFi work with newer routers such as:
ASUS RT-N66R or RT-N66U or RT-AC66U?
