Will A 5800RP Work With A Honeywell L5210?

Yes, the Honeywell 5800RP wireless repeater is compatible with the Honeywell Lynx Touch L5210 control panel.

The 5800RP wireless repeater is compatible with all Honeywell 5800 series devices including bi-directional devices.

Installing a 5800RP wireless repeater will extend the transmitting range of a Honeywell 5800 RF series device by receiving a signal from the device and it will repeat this signal to the Honeywell Lynx Touch L5210 control panel’s wireless receiver.

A 5800RP wireless repeater cannot bounce signals from another 5800RP wireless repeater. The signal must be received from a Honeywell 5800 series device. More than one 5800RP can be used with the Lynx Touch L5210 control panel.

Most Honeywell 5800 series devices have an RF transmitting range of 200 feet. Installing a 5800RP repeater between the RF device and the L5210 can increase the RF transmitting range to almost 400 feet.

The 5800RP wireless repeater comes with a rechargeable 7VDC backup battery. Wires are not included with the 5800RP. The Honeywell K10145WH is the recommended transformer plus the optional LT Cable.

The Lynx Touch L5210 control panel supports a total of 80 zones. Seventy- nine RF wireless zones and 1 hardwired zone. The one hardwired zone does not support hardwired smoke detectors and co detectors,

The Lynx Touch L5210 also supports a total of 32 user codes.

There are several ways for the Lynx Touch L5210 to communicate signals to a central monitoring station and Total Connect 2.0. Landline (the Lynx Touch L5210 is one of the few wireless control panels that still connects to a landline) WIFI (L5100WIFI module), Internet (ILP5 internet communicator) and GSM Cellular communicator (3GL, GSMVLP5-4G and the CDMA l-57).

Connecting the Lynx Touch L5210 to a landline will provide central station monitoring only. Pairing the l5210 with either the L5100WIFI module, ILP5 internet communicator or a GSM cellular communicator allows user to connect to Total Connect 2.0

Total Connect 2.0 allows users to control a Honeywell alarm system, home automation and video remotely from any computer, smartphone and ios device. Users will receive notifications via email and or text message on any alarm signal or event.
