2GIG Go!Bridge

The 2GIG Go!Bridge is an interactivate IP-based communication module for the 2GIG Go!Control alarm panel. The Go!Bridge is essentially a hub that requires AC power and a physical ethernet connection to your router. The Go!Control panel communicates with bridge via 900MHz wireless signals from the 2GIG XCVR2. The XCVR2 is a 900MHz transceiver and 345MHz receiver module that is sold separately and required to use the Go!Bridge.

After the transceiver is installed and programmed signals are sent to Go!Bridge wirelessly. Once they reach the Go!Bridge the signals are carried through the internet via the wired patch cable into your broadband router.

Please note that while you can monitor a 2GIG GC2 system using only the IP Go!Bridge, Alarm.com does not discount an internet only plan so you will still need a monitoring plan that includes the cellular communications when signing up and activating a Go!Bridge enabled GC2 system. Therefore, it's always suggested to also have a cellular alarm communicator installed in your GC2 control panel so that you will have IP communications as the primary path and you'll have the cellular backup path for anytime the IP path is unavailable.
