Alarm.com ADC-VACC-DB-A

Anyone with a digital doorbell chime who wants to start using a SkyBell device will need an Alarm.com ADC-VACC-DB-A SkyBell Digital Doorbell Adapter. This adapter device makes a SkyBell Doorbell Camera compatible with a digital doorbell chime. The adapter allows for easy set up and wiring.

Normally, SkyBell will only work with mechanical doorbell chimes. But if you have a digital doorbell chime, then a little bit of extra set up is required. Before you go and purchase this adapter, you should make sure that you have a digital doorbell chime. The easiest way to check is to press and hold your doorbell button. If the doorbell "dings" and then pauses before completing the tone, then you can assume it is mechanical. But if you hear a melody, or if the doorbell has a speaker, then it is digital.

The Alarm.com ADC-VACC-DB-A SkyBell Digital Doorbell Adapter will work with all versions of the SkyBell Video Doorbell Cameras. These include the following devices:

• Honeywell SkyBell DBCAM - Total Connect Compatible Round Doorbell Camera
• Honeywell SkyBell DBCAM-TRIM - Total Connect Compatible Slim Doorbell Camera
• SkyBell ADC-VDB101 - Alarm.com Compatible Round Doorbell Camera
• SkyBell ADC-VDB105 - Alarm.com Compatible Slim Doorbell Camera

Note: Even though this is an Alarm.com product, you can also use it with the SkyBell devices for Total Connect 2.0 and the native SkyBell App. Remember to NEVER attempt to pair an Alarm.com SkyBell device with TC2 or the SkyBell App. Doing so could result in the device no longer working properly.
