The DSC HS2LCDP N Hardwired LCD Alarm Keypad with Proximity Tag Support is the standard keypad option for PowerSeries NEO users who want to use Proximity Tags. These are convenient devices that allow end users to operate the system keypad without having to enter a valid code.

There are many cases where a user might want to use Proximity Tags with their system. They are convenient for users who don't want to bother with entering a valid code every time they need to arm or disarm their system. They are also perfect for users who suffer from memory loss and may not be able to remember a code. Since there are eight (8) Proximity Tags in the pack linked above, you can give one to every member of the family. Businesses might like to provide them for employees who are usually the first ones in the building or the last ones out.

Other than the added Proximity Tag support, this keypad is exactly the same as the DSC HS2LCD N Keypad. The device wires-in directly with the Corbus on the PowerSeries NEO Panel. Most of these systems will allow you to add up to eight (8) keypads. However, the 128-zone DSC PowerSeries NEO HS2128NK is an exception, as it will let you add up to 16 keypads. You can use the keypad for basic functions like arming and disarming, as well as deep-level programming for setting up the system. Please note that this keypad does not include an integrated PowerG Wireless Transceiver. If you want to use wireless sensors, you should add a DSC HS2LCDRF9 N Keypad or a DSC HSM2HOST9 Module.

The DSC HS2LCDP is a perfectly capable primary or secondary keypad for a DSC PowerSeries NEO. Many users will add these keypads throughout the premises so that Proximity Tags will work throughout the building. Remember that you can assign the Proximity Tags to a different user codes and restrict partition access based on these codes. This is perfect if you don't want every user to have access to the entire building. Each keypad features a 32-character Alphanumeric display, which is perfect for programming the system. The push-button keys and the LCD screen have an adjustable backlight, which lets you easily use the keypad in the dark. There is also a chime function so you know when zones are faulted.

Some other features of the DSC HS2LCDP include the ability to choose from six (6) different languages and the ability to setup five (5) unique function keys. There are also fire, medical, and panic keys for convenient access. An input/output terminal is built-in. The keypad is easy to set up and wire to the Corbus on the PowerSeries NEO Panel. You can also use the DSC HS2LCDWFDMK Desk Mount to avoid having to mount the panel to the wall.
