DSC SD-15WULF
15-Watt Dual-Tone Siren
Description
The DSC SD-15WULF is a 15-Watt Dual-Tone Siren for hardwired systems. This is a self-contained, surface-mounted siren with both steady and warble tone options. The device can produce sounds of up to 90 dB, which is about as loud as a lawnmower. It has a current draw of up to 404mA at 12VDC.
When setting up a DSC SD-15WULF, you will need to choose whether the siren will produce a steady tone or a warble tone when power is applied. The siren will use its yellow wire for a steady tone, or its red wire for a warble tone. The black wire will always be used for power. You just choose either the yellow wire or the red wire, depending upon the type of sound you want. For more information on figuring out which siren to use, check out this helpful FAQ.
The DSC SD-15WULF has dimensions of 4.3"L x 4.3"W x 2.2"D. It begins sounding once the panel starts applying power during an alarm event. The 90 dB maximum sound output comes from a distance of three (3) meters. It is constructed from ABS plastic. The siren makes a great addition to a DSC PowerSeries NEO System if one has not yet been added.
