Honeywell Home PROSIXFOB

The Honeywell Home PROSIXFOB serves as a wireless keyfob for a PROA7PLUS, PROA7PLUSC, PROA7, or PROA7C. You can use this keyfob to arm, disarm, trigger emergency panics, and activate automation commands. All signals between the panel and the PROSIXFOB are sent using 128-bit AES encryption.

Security keyfobs like the PROSIXFOB are small, compact devices that are used for controlling security systems from a distance. This keyfob will allow you to perform a variety of programmed functions without needing to get up or open an app on your phone. There are four (4) buttons on the PROSIXFOB, and each can be set up with a unique command. The fob also allows for dual-button inputs, giving you the ability to program up to eight (8) different functions with one device. Inputs must be pressed and held for two (2) full seconds in order to go through. The PROSIXFOB comes on a key ring, and you can easily carry it around in your pocket or purse for easy access.

There are LED lights on the PROSIXFOB to provide indication when a command has been sent out. The LEDs are also used to assist with device enrollment and troubleshooting. The keyfob also has a small piezoelectric sounder to provide audible verification of a command going through. The icons on the buttons make it easier for users to identify each command. Customizable programming allows you to set up each input in any manner that you want. The keyfob uses a single 3V lithium CR2032 coin battery for power. Typical battery life for the keyfob is about three (3) years. The panel will let you know when the keyfob battery is low and in need of replacing.

The Honeywell Home PROSIXFOB has a wireless communication range of more than 200 feet in an open air environment. Keep in mind that obstacles like thick walls and large metal objects can reduce range. This keyfob device is designed exclusively for use with the ProSeries Alarm Panels, and it cannot be used with any other system. The ProSeries Systems support up to (32) keyfob slots. Each keyfob is associated with a programmed user code so that you can determine who is controlling the system. If you assign the keyfob to a user code that has not yet been programmed, then the device will not work. The keyfob has dimensions of 2.58"L x 1.42"W x 0.43"D.
