The Honeywell VISTA-20P-6160RF Kit provides everything a DIY user needs to begin setting up a new system. The VISTA-20P offers up to 56 wireless zones and the 6160RF can support all of them. With its built-in transceiver, the 6160RF also supports bi-directional 5800 series wireless, such as the 5828 or 5828V wireless keypads.

The Vista-20P has proven to be an industry favorite and a solid option for any small to medium setup. It is branded as a residential panel but has many features that make it a good fit in light commercial establishments as well. It has eight (8) hardwired zones on board, with one (1) of them having the ability to be a dedicated 2-wire smoke zone. It offers hardwired expansion by the use of up to five (5) 4219 Zone Expanders, with up to eight (8) hardwired zone on each module. The VISTA-20P has two (2) onboard programmable trigger outputs and can be expanded with up to four (4) 4204 Relay Modules, containing four (4) relays each. That's a total of eighteen programmable outputs. It can also be expanded up to 56 wireless zones, with the use of one (1) wireless receiver. The VISTA-20P can also support up to eight (8) wired LCD display keypads, and four (4) touchscreen keypads.

The VISTA-20P can support only one system receiver, and that receiver must be set to address 00. There are different types of receivers. A low receiver can support up to eight (8) RF zones, a medium can support up to 16 RF zones, or a high receiver can support as many RF zones as the panel will allow. For the possibility of future expansion, we typically recommend getting a high receiver. This prevents having to change receivers later in order to add more zones. A transceiver is a receiver and a transmitter together. It not only receives signals but can also transmit signals to supported bi-directional devices.

The 6160RF is an alphanumeric alarm keypad that has a high-level wireless transceiver built-in. Alpha keypads have an easy-to-read 32-character display screen that features custom English status messages. Both the screen and the keys are backlit to provide greater visibility and ease of use. The integrated high-level transceiver makes it capable of supporting all possible 56 wireless zones. Additionally, it is capable of sending panel status to bi-directional devices, through the use of a panel House ID. The 6160RF Alphanumeric Alarm Keypad connects to the VISTA-20P Panel with a 4-conductor alarm wire (not included) and once connected, allows you to program and control your security system.

The Honeywell VISTA-20P-6160RF Kit brings two great products into one, easy-to-order package. This kit pairs well with an Alarm Communicator. This allows reliable monitoring capabilities, including access to a remote interactive app, either Total Connect 2.0 or Alarm.com. The use of these services will require a compatible monitoring plan (self or full).

This Honeywell VISTA-20P-6160RF Kit includes one (1) Vista-20P alarm panel with an included transformer and one (1) 6160RF Alpha Keypad. It does not include any alarm wire nor does it include a battery. We offer pre-cut lengths of 22/4 alarm wire, so you don't have to buy an entire box if not needed. A battery is required and must be purchased separately. The VISTA-20P panel is capable of supporting a minimum battery of 4 Amp Hour (Ah), and a maximum of 17.2 Ah. The Ultratech line of F1 terminal, sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries make for great options. There is the Ultratech IM1250F1, a 5 Ah battery or the UltraTech 1272F1, a 7Ah battery.
