Description

The Optex WFX-360HW Wireless 360 Degrees PIR Motion Detector is a ceiling-mounted motion sensor that provides coverages across a 40-foot diameter. This version is designed to work with Honeywell Alarm Systems with an integrated wireless receiver. It features a 7-year max battery life.

As a passive infrared sensor (PIR) sensor, the Optex WFX-360HW works by looking for changes in infrared energy that are associated with movement. If it detects a significant change, the device will alert the security panel. From there, the system will respond accordingly. The WFX-360HW uses an OPTEX engineered hard spherical lens for accurate detection and false alarm protection. It has a recommended mounting height of 8 to 12 feet.

Temperature compensation allows the sensor to work properly at all times, even when the ambient temperature is close to that of the human body. Radio frequency interference (RFI) protection is also included to prevent issues with the wireless communication signal. A selectable pulse count allows users to adjust the device's sensitivity so that it is best-suited for their environment. An LED light with shows whether or not the device is currently powered on. The device uses a single lithium CR123A battery.

Hello, Unfortunately Honeywell's 5800 series sensors do not have a 360 degree ceiling mount motion. You could run a Honeywell 997 off of a 5816. I am quoting a Honeywell security system. Am using Honeywell VIS5800 repeater. Is there a recommended ceiling mount motion sensor?
