Description
The QOLSYS-5208-PGPK-AT is a 3-1 PowerG Security System Kit that is designed for a small home or apartment. The package includes a 345 MHz IQ Panel 2 Plus System with Integrated AT&T LTE, a DSC PG9914 PowerG Motion Sensor, and three (3) DSC PG9303 PowerG Door and Window Contact Sensors.
The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus is one of our most sought-after alarm systems, and it has many features that help it stand out. The system has an excellent user interface (UI), and new users should have no trouble navigating the menus. It also features a sleek and modern design that fits nicely with any decor. Many users are particularly impressed with the 7" touchscreen display that makes the system a joy to use on a daily basis. The panel also features 128 wireless zones, built-in Z-Wave Plus, automatic Bluetooth disarming, four (4) partitions, the ability to live stream certain Alarm.com Cameras, and much more. Please note that this is the 345 MHz model that supports Legacy Honeywell, 2GIG, and PowerG Sensors.
This bundled kit includes PowerG Sensors. The PowerG Sensors are capable of communicating with the IQ Panel 2 Plus System from up to 2,000 feet away when used with a direct line of sight. They also utilize 128-bit AES encryption in all of their wireless communication. This makes them nearly impossible for others to hack or takeover wirelessly. You should find that the PG9303 Door and Window Contacts are very easy to install and extremely versatile. Meanwhile, the PG9914 reliably detects changes in infrared (IR) energy caused by movement, and it provides pet immunity for animals weighing up to 85 pounds.
This IQ Panel 2 Plus also has a built-in Verizon LTE Communicator that lets it communicate reliably with the Alarm.com servers. This will ensure that the system receives reliable alarm monitoring service. Alarm.com also offers a mobile app that allows a user to control their system from virtually anywhere. By accessing Alarm.com, a user can arm and disarm their system, control connected Z-Wave devices, check current system status, and more. The system also has a WIFI card, making the system dual-path ready right out of the box. Just keep in mind that you will need a Gold Plan or higher if you plan to activate the system with Alarm Grid.
Note: The IQ Panel 2 Plus supports up to 152 total Z-Wave devices for local Z-Wave control. There is also a smaller limit for different types of Z-Wave devices. The individual limit for each Z-Wave device type must be manually increased within Installer/Dealer Level Programming. Please also note that Alarm.com has its own smaller limit of 122 total Z-Wave devices for remote operation and use with smart scenes. More information on Alarm.com Z-Wave limits can be found in this FAQ.
