Description
This kit includes the IQ4 Hub 319.5 MHz Security System with an integrated AT&T LTE Cellular Communicator, ten (10) VERSA-GE Door/Window Contacts, and one (1) Qolsys IQ Motion-S Encrypted Motion Detector.
This IQ4 Hub that supports 319.5 MHz sensors only, is still loaded when it comes to features. It has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-core SOM (System on a Module) processor as the IQ Panel 4. The IQ4 Hub has many of the same features as the IQ Panel 4 but eliminates certain ones that many users find they don't need or want.
The IQ4 Hub does not have a front-facing camera, and it only supports one (1) wireless frequency. Thats the 319.5 MHz frequency on this version. The IQ4 Hub has one (1) speaker, one (1) piezo siren, and one (1) microphone. It does have 16GB of NAND Flash memory, dual-band WIFI, optional automatic Bluetooth disarming capability, support for up to four (4) partitions, live streaming of Alarm.com video cameras to the panel, including Live Answer when using the video doorbell, and a Z-Wave Plus 800-series controller.
If you did not need or want the more full-featured Qolsys IQ Panel 4, then the IQ4 Hub is a more cost-effective option. Paired with ten (10) VERSA-GE Door or Window sensors and one (1) Qolsys S-Line Motion detector, this is a well-rounded option for larger installs. The VERSA-GE sensors are great for protecting additional doors or windows. They provide additional protection when someone tries to tamper with the sensor. The tamper switch will activate, notifying you someone has opened the sensor. They have a transmission radius rated at 500' open air, and are powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery. The IQ Motion-S has a coverage area of up to 30 feet by 40 feet of space. It gets its power from two (2) AAA batteries.
