Description
The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Power Supply is the replacement 5.5VDC transformer for an IQ Panel 2. This is the transformer to purchase if your original one becomes lost or damaged. The device can support 18-gauge wire runs of up to 25 feet, all while providing constant power to the IQ Panel 2.
As a plug-in transformer, the Qolsys QR0029-840 will conveniently connect with any standard wall outlet. It is rated at 5.5VDC, 1,000mA. The transformer comes with a 6-foot wire with a barrel connector, or a user can supply their own wire. We recommend keeping the system plugged-in whenever possible, as to not drain the backup battery.
Note: The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus no longer ships with this transformer standard. The QR0051-840 7VDC is now the standard transformer that comes included with the panel. However, you can still use the 5.5VDC QR0029-840 to power an IQ Panel 2 or IQ Panel 2 Plus System if you have one on-hand.
