How Do I Change Brightness On An 2GIG GC3 Screen?
Using the Screen feature, users can adjust the brightness, dim brightness, blackout timeout and the touchscreen clean mode on the 2GIG GC3. Users will need the four digit master code.
From the home screen > System Settings (found on the bottom right hand side of the screen > swipe the Screen Brightness slide control to the left to decrease the brightness or slide it to the right to increase the brightness.
On the same screen, there is also the option to dim the brightness by sliding the bar to the left to decrease or sliding the bar to the right to increase.
Keeping the backlight on can requires a lot of battery power. Users can also adjust the backlight timeout from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Tap the menu bar and a list of times will appear. Select the desired time.
The 2GIG GC3 has a 7 inch touchscreen, 85db Piezo sounder and integrated Z-Wave module.
A total of 232 Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus devices can be added to the 2GIG GC3 control panel.
The 2GIG GC3 is compatible with Alarm.com when paired with a 2GIG GC cell communicator.
The compatible cell communicators are the 2GIG 3GA-A-GC3, AT&T, 2GIG CDMAV-A-GC3, Verizon and 2GIG GC3GR-A, Roger for Canada.
Alarm.com allows users to remotely control the 2GIG GC3 both burg and home automation, from any computer or smartphone. Users will receive notifications via email and or text message on any alarm signal or event.
