How Do I Disarm a PROA7 or PROA7PLUS Using a PROWLTOUCH?
Disarming a PROA7 or PROA7PLUS using the PROWLTOUCH touchscreen keypad is identical to disarming using the panel itself. Disarm by tapping the word "Disarm" on the PROWLTOUCH screen. Then enter a valid 4-digit user code (default is 1234). Only users with a valid code can disarm the system.
The PROWLTOUCH keypad is a 7" wireless touchscreen keypad for the PROA7 and PROA7PLUS panels:
To Disarm Using the PROWLTOUCH Touchscreen Keypad

When dealing with a ProSeries panel such as the PROA7 or PROA7PLUS, you can connect to up to eight (8) wireless keypads per enabled partition. These keypads include the Honeywell Home PROWLTOUCH, a touchscreen keypad that uses WIFI to connect with the main panel, and the PROSIXLCDKP, which is an LCD keypad that uses RF SiX wireless protocol. The process of disarming from the PROSIXLCDKP varies from that of the touchscreen keypad.
The PROWLTOUCH keypad is a 7" wireless keypad. To use this touchscreen keypad you must first make sure to install a PROWIFI or PROWIFIZW module into the PROA7 as it does not come included. The PROA7PLUS has a PROWIFIZW installed from the factory. Before the touchscreen keypad can work on the PROA7, it requires the installation of one of these modules.
Besides the PROWLTOUCH there is another touchscreen keypad available. The Resideo PROWLTOUCHC touchscreen keypad is identical to the PROWLTOUCH keypad, with the only difference being the branding across the bottom. The PROWLTOUCH reads Honeywell Home, while the PROWLTOUCHC reads Resideo. The same can be said of the Resideo PROA7C and PROA7PLUSC alarm panels.
The PROWLTOUCH and PROWLTOUCHC offer another solution to disarm the PROA7. Resideo made the use of these remote keypads simple. Each wireless keypad communicates to the ProSeries Panel via WiFi. This explains the need to add the PROWIFI or PROWIFIZW module to the panel if one isn't already installed. The PROWLTOUCH and the PROWLTOUCHC can be wall mounted or desk mounted. Each touchscreen keypad has a built-in kick stand that folds out from the back of the unit. This allows the keypad to rest on a desk or table at a 30-degree angle.
There is also an optional PROWLTOUCHDM. This accessory offers a desk mount and charging station in one. The PROWLTOUCHDM provides the ability to take the keypad with you around the home, and then return it to the dock to charge and/or use while docked. Since you can both program the panel, and include/exclude Z-Wave devices using the touchscreen keypad, the ability to go mobile with the keypad makes setting up and editing the panel much simpler.
The optional PROWLTOUCHWM provides a similar experience to the PROWLTOUCHDM but provides a wall-mounted base and charging station instead.
The PROWLTOUCH and PROWLTOUCHC touchscreen keypads offer a sleek modern look while also providing convenience. Install them around the home to provide additional locations to arm and disarm the PROA7 or PROa7PLUS alarm panel. These touchscreens can be the solution for many applications.
