Which is the stay button on a Honeywell alarm keypad?
The stay mode feature of a Honeywell security system allows you to arm the system while you are home. All alarm sensors will be armed, except the motion detectors, to allow free motion within your home. On most standard Honeywell alarm keypads, the stay button is [2]. In order to arm the system in stay mode, you would press your four-digit user code, and the press [2] for arm away. If your system is programmed for quick-arming, then the [#] key can be used in place of the four-digit user code to arm the system in stay mode. If your Honeywell keypad is equipped with function buttons, your system may be programmed for single button arming. The four keys to the left of the standard keypad are programmable, and if your system is programmed for single button arming using these controls, then one of these buttons is likely programmed for the Arm Stay function.
