Alarm.com ADC-VC727P

The Alarm.com ADC-VC727P is a POE-capable Indoor/Outdoor camera with 1080p resolution. It supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) for superior picture quality, particularly in darker environments. With its built-in microphone and speaker, it offers two-way audio through the Alarm.com app and with the alarm panels that support it.

The ADC-VC727P is a mini-bullet-style camera. It is another addition to the Alarm.com (ADC) commercial Pro Series line. This camera supports either a POE connection or an Ethernet connection. For those whose network equipment does not support power over ethernet (POE), another option is to use a standard Ethernet cable with the optional 12VDC power supply, purchased separately. Also included is a weather-resistant RJ-45 cap to protect the POE connection against the elements when used outdoors. This camera does not support a WIFI network connection.

With its microphone and speaker, the ADC-VC727P supports the two-way audio feature. Users of the app can initiate a conversation with anyone who is within earshot of the camera once they receive a notification that the camera has sensed motion. Two-way audio is not supported through the customer website.

Some alarm panels will also support the two-way audio feature. These include the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 version 2.2.1+, Qolsys IQ Panel 4 all versions, IQ Hub all versions, IQ4 Hub all versions, and the 2GIG Edge all versions. Be sure that the "Audio for Non-Doorbell Cameras" service package has been enabled for the account. After this feature has been enabled, the user will see an "Audio Recording Agreement" on their panel or app. Once they indicate their agreement, the feature will become active.

The ADC-VC727P supports intelligent video analytics for object detection and business activity tracking. To receive the benefits of Business Activity Analytics, you need a Commercial Video package on Alarm.com that has Business Activity Analytics enabled. Capabilities of Business Analytics:

The ADC-VC727P also has ADC's Perimeter Guard feature. Once the camera detects an intruder it can deter trespassers with loud whistles and beeping, along with a red flashing LED. It supports cloud recording and local recording. Local recording requires a streaming video recorder (SVR) or a microSD card (not included). Onboard Recording with Smart View uses the microSD card to store video for viewing on the Alarm.com website or customer app. The Alarm.com mobile app is available on iOS and Android app stores.
