Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS101A

The Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS101A is a 10-1 system kit. It includes a Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS Panel, ten (10) PROSIXMINI2 Encrypted Door and Window Sensors, one (1) PROSIXPIR Encrypted Motion Sensor, a PROLTE-A AT&T LTE Communicator, and Honeywell LT-Cable. This system is dual-path ready.

With a 10-1 system kit that includes ten (10) door and window sensors and one (1) motion sensor, you have a great foundation for a larger home or a small business. And you can certainly expand upon the system even further if you need to. This Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS System has built-in WIFI, and we have also included an AT&T LTE Communicator. When a security system uses both WIFI and cellular connectivity, it is referred to as a dual-path system. In this type of setup, WIFI will typically serve as the primary communication path, and cellular will be ready as a backup, in case the internet goes down. You will need a monitoring plan that includes cellular communication in order to do this. Some possible plans you can choose from include the Gold and Platinum Level Plans (Self or Full) from Alarm Grid.

The PROA7PLUS includes built-in Z-Wave Plus for smart home automation, automatic Bluetooth disarming, and four (4) system partitions to work with. This panel is particularly known for its sleek and modern look, as well as its clean user interface and easy-to-navigate menus through its beautiful 7-inch touchscreen display. We highly recommend getting a monitoring plan with access to Total Connect 2.0 so that you can take advantage of remote access features through the TC2 website and mobile app. A former limitation of the PROA7PLUS was that it did not support local end-user programming but as of firmware version 03.591.92.0 it now supports programming at the panel. Another update, 03.1868.32.0, added support for integration with Apple HomeKit.

Important Note: The PROA7 and PROA7PLUS systems only support PROSIX and SiX series sensors from the factory. If you plan to use any legacy RF sensors, including Honeywell 5800 Series, 2GIG (non-encrypted) 345 MHz, Qolsys or Interlogix 319.5 MHz, DSC 433 MHz, or Bosch 433 MHz sensors, you will need to add a PROTAKEOVER module to your system.
