Description
The QOLSYS-4208-PGPK10-VZ provides everything a new user needs if they are planning to monitor a large home or a small business. The bundle includes a 433 MHz Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus System with AT&T LTE Communicator, a DSC PG9914 PowerG Motion, and ten (10) DSC PG9303 PowerG Contacts.
The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus is a tremendous alarm system that has so much to offer. It has a crisp and fresh design that goes well with nearly any decor. Its 7" touchscreen display and simple, intuitive menus make the system feel really satisfying to use and control. Other great features include support for 128 wireless zones, automatic Bluetooth disarming, the ability to stream compatible Alarm.com Cameras, built-in Z-Wave Plus, partitioning, and more. This model supports 433 MHz legacy DSC Sensors and PowerG 915 MHz Sensors.
We included PowerG Sensors with this encrypted kit. The PowerG Sensors are excellent because of their extremely long range (2,000 feet from the IQ2+ in open air) and military grade encryption (128-bit AES). These sensors are virtually impossible to hack or takeover wirelessly, and they are immune to any RF jamming techniques. The PG9303 PowerG Contacts are easy to use and extremely versatile, as they will work with nearly any door or window. The PG9914 PowerG Motion Sensor reliably detects movement across its 39-foot coverage area, and it includes pet immunity for animals weighing up to 85 pounds.
The system also includes a built-in Verizon LTE communicator, as well as a WIFI card. This makes it dual-path ready right out of the box. This is great for ensuring fast and reliable connectivity with Alarm.com. The ADC platform is very nice, and it can be conveniently accessed from almost anywhere using the Alarm.com Mobile App. By using the app, you can arm and disarm your system, check its current status, control connected Z-Wave devices, and more. If you plan on being monitored with Alarm Grid, you will need a Gold Plan or higher.
Note: The IQ Panel 2 Plus supports up to 152 total Z-Wave devices for local Z-Wave control. There is also a smaller limit for different types of Z-Wave devices. The individual limit for each Z-Wave device type must be manually increased within Installer/Dealer Level Programming. Please also note that Alarm.com has its own smaller limit of 122 total Z-Wave devices for remote operation and use with smart scenes. More information on Alarm.com Z-Wave limits can be found in this FAQ.
The breakdown for the maximum allowed of each device type for local control, is shown in the table below. If you want more information on adjusting IQ2+ Z-Wave device limits, please check this other FAQ.
