Qolsys QR0074-840

The Qolsys QR0074-840 16VDC, 1A Transformer serves as the replacement power supply for the Qolsys Wired to Wireless Converters, including the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F. Although these converter units already come with their own transformers, the QR0074-840 serves as a great replacement option.

No wiring or cabling is included with the Qolsys QR0074-840 16VDC, 1A Transformer, so make sure that the existing cable is still operational. Or if you have some loose cabling lying around, that should also work fine. We also sell a pre-prepared Honeywell LT-Cable that can really make the set up process easy if you need a new cable. Remember, you will need to observe polarity when connecting the converter module to the transformer.

The positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the Qolsys QR0074-840 are labeled on the device sticker. Make sure to look carefully so that you do not mix-up the wires for the transformer. You will need a screwdriver to secure the wires. The Qolsys QR0074-840 is built for indoor use only. Do not use the transformer in an environment where it may be exposed to excessive moisture or dust.
