AlarmNet C
ommunicators that support Zone Mode will work with any manufacture’s security panel, as well
as other products that may or may not be related to the security industry. To use an AlarmNet
Communicator on these products you will want to familiarize yourself with the acceptable zone mode inputs
to the communicator and then determine how your device will provide that input. Acceptable inputs can be a
positive voltage, negative/pull
-to-ground, or a contact closure (Normal Open/Normal Closed) with
an EOLR.
Refer
to the communicator documentation for more information on supported zone mode inputs.
