Can I arm Honeywell systems when disarmed ready?

While the arming procedure may vary depending upon which Honeywell security system and alarm keypad you are using, most systems are activated by pressing your four digit user or master code, and then pressing the “Stay” or “Away” key, depending upon which arming mode you want to activate the system to. If you press your four digit code and then “Away,” the Honeywell alarm system will arm all of the devices, including motion detectors. If you press your four digit code and then “Stay,” the system will arm all of the perimeter sensors, but will not arm the motion detectors, allowing you to freely walk around your home or business while the rest of the Honeywell alarm system is armed. Some Honeywell alarm keypads are equipped with programmable buttons which can be used for one-touch arming.
