How do I arm/disarm Honeywell systems w/ Tuxedo Touch?
The Honeywell Tuxedo Touch and Tuxedo Touch WIFI alarm keypads are compatible with Honeywell alarm control panels that support AUI devices. You can use the Tuxedo Touch keypad to control a residential VISTA-10P, VISTA-15P, VISTA-20P or VISTA-21iP alarm control panel and can also be used to control a commercial VISTA-128PPT or VISTA-250BPT alarm control panel.
Before arming your Honeywell alarm system, make sure to close all perimeter doors and windows. From the Tuxedo Touch 'Home' screen press the security icon which is the locked lock inside a house. Next, press the selected arming icon and the Tuxedo Touch will display which zones are arming and whether or not an entry delay. The touchscreen then changes to show the remaining exit delay time. If you have quick arm disabled, you will need to enter your master code or user code after selecting the arming icon to arm the system. When armed in 'Stay', 'Night Stay' or 'Instant' mode, the Tuxedo keypad will beep (3) times upon arming. When armed in 'Away' and 'Maximum' mode, the Tuxedo Touch will beep consistently as the exit delay time runs out. When there is only (10) seconds remaining in the exit delay time, the alarm keypad will beep rapidly to warm you to exit immediately.
There are (2) ways to disarm your VISTA Series alarm control panel using a Tuxedo Touch or Tuxedo Touch WIFI alarm keypad. If you are entering your home and wish to disarm the alarm system, simply enter your (4) digit master code or user code. The Tuxedo keypad will display the 'Arming' screen. If you are home and wish to disarm your security system, simply press the 'Disarm' icon on the Tuxedo Touch and then enter your (4) digit code.
