How to connect a 5800WAVE siren to a L5000 Lynx Touch?
The Honeywell 5800WAVE wireless alarm siren is easy to add to your Honeywell L5000 LYNX Touch wireless security system. Just like wireless alarm keypads, the 5800WAVE alarm siren connects to a Honeywell wireless security system via the House ID or House Code feature. The same house code must be programmed into the LYNX Touch alarm control panel and the 5800WAVE alarm siren.
To program the House ID of the Honeywell LYNX Touch:
At the Main screen, choose “More” and then select the “Tools” menu. After entering the installer code (default is 4112), select the “System Type” menu and the choose “RF House Code.” You will need to enter in a House code between 1 and 31 and then choose done to save your entry.
To program the House ID of the 5800wave siren:
You must open the cover of the wireless siren and set the dip switches to match the House ID you programmed into the L5000 control panel.

After you select the same House ID on the 5800WAVE as you did on the L5000 LYNX Touch, you have successfully programmed your wireless alarm siren. To ensure proper performance, you should set off your LYNX Touch to ensure that the 5800WAVE also activates.
For added security, you can program a 5800WAVE maintenance zone in your L5000 system as well.
