How to program the House ID for a Honeywell LYNX?
Programming the House ID for a Honeywell LYNX control panel depends upon which version of the panel you have. The House ID is a two digit code between 1 and 31 that allows certain wireless devices such as the 5828 and 5828V keypads and the 5800WAVE siren, to communicate with Honeywell wireless security systems.
If you have a Honeywell LYNX Touch (L5000 or L5100) security system:
At the Home scree, press “More” and the go to the “Tools” menu. Enter your installer code when the keypad presents itself on the touchscreen (default is 4112). Go to the “System Type” menu, and then select “RF House Code.” This entry should be set to a number between 1 and 31 that matches the House ID you have programmed into your wireless device.
If you have a Honeywell LYNX Plus (L3000) security system or prior:
Enter the installer mode by pressing your four digit installer code (default is 4112) + [800]. Go to the House ID menu by pressing [*]+[2]+[4]. Enter the two digit House ID between (01) and (31) and press [*]+[9]+[9] to exit programming mode. You have now successfully programmed the House ID on your Honeywell LYNX security system.
