In order to use a camera for streaming on the 2GIG Edge, it must be set up with the Alarm.com account used by the 2GIG Edge. Remember to keep any camera limits for the Alarm.com account in mind. Once the camera has been added, the checkbox for "View at Panel" must be checked. To do this, login to the Alarm.com website, choose Video, then Settings, then Stream Video to Security Panel Screen.
All of the compatible cameras that are programmed on the Alarm.com account will be listed. Check the box for "View at the Panel" on the far right-hand side, and then press Save. Remember that your alarm monitoring provider must enable Video on your Alarm.com account for this option to be available. It may take a few moments for the setting to update on the 2GIG Edge Panel.
You can speed things up by rebooting the Edge Panel by opening up the panel to disconnect the battery and also unplugging the panel's plug-in transformer. With both battery power and AC power disconnected, the panel will power down. When powering back on, connect the battery first, and the transformer second. The panel will automatically refresh with Alarm.com once it powers back on.
In order to view any cameras enabled for panel streaming on Alarm.com from the 2GIG Edge, start from the main screen of the 2GIG Edge, and choose Smart Home, followed by Cameras. Any cameras set for panel streaming will begin loading on the screen. It may take a few moments for the camera feeds to fully load and begin streaming. You can click on the screen for a camera to make it full-screen on the 2GIG Edge.
