Honeywell LTE-21V

The Honeywell Home LTE-21V is a Verizon LTE Communicator for the VISTA-21iPLTE. This communicator plugs conveniently into the system board to provide cellular connectivity. Since the 21iPLTE Panel already has a built-in IP communicator, this module will make the system dual-path ready.

Providing cellular communication for your system is extremely important. Without cellular communication, an internet outage would take your panel offline and leave it unmonitored. Cellular connectivity will provide a very reliable backup for the system in these situations. What's even better is that this is an LTE communicator that works across the Verizon LTE Network. This network is faster and more reliable than the older Verizon CDMA Network. Additionally, Verizon says that it plans to support their LTE network well into the very distant future. This makes it a great long-term investment for you panel.

This communicator allows the VISTA-21iPLTE System to use cellular communication to connect with the Resideo AlarmNet Servers for monitoring service. This will let you control your system remotely through the Total Connect 2.0 platform. By accessing Total Connect 2.0, you can arm and disarm your system, check its current status, control Z-Wave devices (controller required), and so much more. Remember that you will need a monitoring plan with access to TC2 to use the service. Also keep in mind that the VISTA-21iPLTE can already connect with AlarmNet using its IP communicator. But remember, having cellular backup is super important!

Another great thing about the Honeywell Home LTE-21V is that it connects with the panel through a simple plug-in connection. It is exactly like the older Honeywell VISTA-GSM4G, except that the LTE-21V communicates through a faster and more reliable LTE network. Remember that the LTE-21V will only work with the VISTA-21iPLTE System. Even though the older VISTA-21iP has the same connector, it is not prepared to support the LTE-21V. If you do not have a 21iPLTE System, then you will not be able to use the LTE-21V. Once you add the LTE-21V to a VISTA-21iPLTE, the system will become dual-path ready with both LTE & IP connectivity!
