I had 3 main requirements for an alarm: 1) must be DIY and have self monitoring capabilities 2) needed WiFi or cellular connectivity as I have no land line 3) it needed to be completely wireless because my house is completely finished with easy way to run wires to sensors.

This system met all of my requirements and has exceeded my expectations in terms of features and quality. In addition to what is included I also added a glass break sensor, smoke/heat alarm, an extra keypad, and multiple door/window sensors to cover all of my doors and windows that are accessible from the ground floor. It was extremely easy to setup and works great. I love the fact that I can arm/disarm/monitor everything from my cell phone or computer and with TotalConnect I am receive alerts via text and e-mail based on the conditions I selected (arm/disarm/alarm/etc.)

The help I received from the folks at AlarmGrid was also outstanding. They were extremely responsive and made some great recommendations on sensors and helped me through all of the activation and setup necessary to get this going. I would definitely recommend purchasing from them.

The reason for dealing with you was that you knew what you were talking about, straight away you understood my problem. Lots of companies sell magnetic reed switches without understanding how they work, this never fails to surprise me, how can anyone sell a product without that knowledge, do people not have enquiring minds?

My Lynx 5000 came without the power supply and power cable. So, I ordered the cable from Alarm Grid. The installation was a no-brainer. Pretty straight forward. Alarm Grid's service was excellent. Also, the company wrote me to find out about the product and the transaction.

I was having issues getting a good cellular connection from my GSMV when I had it in my basement. Found this cable and now I ran it all the way up into the attic so that I could install the antenna pointing at the nearest ATT tower. I know when there's an alarm at my house that every second counts. I don't want the police officers coming out to check on my alarm to waste one second finding my house so I put in a red 710 strobe above my garage door. It lights up bright and at night there's no way you can miss it. Now I know the police will get every chance to catch the scum that tries to break in.
