The Lutron 3-Button Pico Remote for Audio Control is used for operating a Sonos Sound System that has been set up with a Lutron Smart Home setup. This is a great way to wirelessly and conveniently control a Sonos device. The remote has buttons for play/pause, volume adjustment and song skip.

A Lutron Pico Remote for audio control (PJ2-3BRL-GWH-A02) is only useful if a Sonos system has been integrated. In order to integrate a Sonos Speaker with a Lutron lighting system, a Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge is required. The bridge serves as the central hub for a Lutron setup, and it needs a wired ethernet connection to your WIFI router. The Lutron Smart Bridge also provides other benefits for a Lutron Smart Home System. One benefit is the ability to control Lutron devices remotely using the Lutron Mobile App or Apple HomeKit. Another benefit for the smart bridge is that it will allow a user to operate their Lutron devices using voice commands sent through Siri, Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

The Honeywell Lyric Security System now supports Apple HomeKit with firmware version 1.07 or higher. This integration will allow users of the Honeywell Lyric Controller and Lutron Caseta to trigger Apple HomeKit automation rules using security actions such arming/disarming and zone faults such as a door being opened or a motion detector being tripped.

The Pico Remote can be used as a standard handheld remote, or it can be mounted using a tabletop pedestal or a wall plate bracket. The device uses a single lithium CR123A battery, and it features a 10-year battery life. The remote measures in at 2.5"L x 1.2"W x 0.3"D.
