Can you program Honeywell alarm panels from the keypad?
Honeywell alarm control panels can be programmed from the alarm keypad. While most keypads can be used, Alphanumeric keypads are recommended for programming, especially if you intend to use advanced features, or submenus, such as (*56) zone programming. Fixed English keypads, such as the Honeywell 6150 cannot provide the same level of feedback as alphanumeric keypads such as the 6160, and therefore you can make accidental changes to the programming of your alarm system, potentially compromising your security. You can enter programming mode on most Honeywell systems by pressing your four-digit installer code and then [800] on your keypad.

We keep getting an annoying chime on our Honeywell 6151 and it says chime batt. What do we need to do to get this to stop?

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the low battery supervision. I would recommend you simply add a battery like the one at https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/ultratech-1240 to get the message to stop.

My system works great so far, except it always says there is a System Low Battery. I did not attach a backup battery as I don't need one (whole house backup). This low battery issue also shows on my Tuxedo Touch too and it is very annoying. Is there a way to disable this 'system low battery' check? Thank you!
