Qolsys IQ Panel 4 Vs. Qolsys IQ4 Hub
The Qolsys IQ Panel 4, released late in 2021, offers features that make it a popular system. The Qolsys IQ4 Hub, released at the end of 2022, has fewer hardware features when compared to the IQ Panel 4. Qolsys removed these features to allow the IQ4 Hub to come in at a lower price point.
The IQ Panel 4 exploded onto the market and quickly became a popular choice, after improving on its predecessor, the IQ Panel 2 Plus. The IQ Panel 4 includes a wide range of industry-leading features that greatly contribute to its success. The IQ4 Hub was not intended to replace the IQ Panel 4. Rather, it ran with its success by keeping the same user experience with the same important options "under the hood."
